About Micki Nellis

Micki Nellis is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a triple major in Microbiology, Zoology and Chemistry. She worked in these fields for 10 years. Positions included being a microbiologist at the Oklahoma State Health Department; Research assistant at the Southwest Center for Advanced Studies (now University of Texas at Dallas); Research assistant at the UT unit at Parkland Hospital in Dallas; and head of the Quality Control Chemistry Laboratory at Arbrook (Johnson & Johnson) in Arlington, Texas.

She then founded, edited and published two newspapers, the Iredell Times and the American Agriculture News (the officially endorsed newspaper of the tractorcading farmers), and a regional magazine, Life in the Heart of Texas.

She entered the field of computers in 1983, and has since worked independently as a software troubleshooter and writer/editor/publisher. She authored 3 books, Constitution: Fact or Fiction with Dr. Eugene Schroder; Logan and the Duck Patrol, a children's picture book; and Makin' It on the Farm: How to Make Fuel Alcohol.

She designed and produced 4 multimedia CDs in English and Spanish from the Logan and the Duck Patrol book, which include text and voice in the two languages.

She co-edited the book War, Central Planning and Corporations with Dr. Walker Todd, formerly of the Federal Reserve, written by Dr. Eugene Schroder and David Schechter.

She has produced all the books in downloadable ebook format and also put them on CDs.

She published a CD of poems by Acie Fox, Faith, Love and Life
